Choose Heatmiser controls around the complete heating-control layout, including the thermostat, wiring centre or receiver, actuators and any app-control hub. The product name alone does not confirm that every component in an existing system will work together.
Compare the thermostat connection
| Control choice | What to plan |
|---|---|
| Heatmiser neoStat V3 | Wired thermostat installation with the appropriate power and control wiring |
| Heatmiser neoAir V3 | Battery-powered wireless thermostat with a compatible receiver or wiring centre |
| Heatmiser Slimline V4 | Wired programmable control; do not assume neoHub app compatibility |
Check the receiver or wiring centre
For a wireless layout, Heatmiser identifies UH8-RF V2 and RF Switch V2 as compatible neoAir V3 receiver choices. Wired UH4 and UH8 centres are different products. Check the exact thermostat generation, receiver model, electrical requirements and installation manual before replacing one part of an existing system.
Browse UH8-RF V2, UH4 and UH8 specifications. A zone count describes the control arrangement; it does not establish every electrical load or actuator combination.
App control needs the right hub
Check the compatible neoHub Gen 2 configuration if you want app control. A thermostat’s wireless connection to a receiver and its connection to an app system are separate purchasing checks. The Heatmiser manufacturer compatibility list is the reference for the exact generation.
Floor sensors are another selection check
Decide whether the design requires room-air sensing, floor sensing or a floor-temperature limit. Confirm the thermostat’s supported modes and sensor specification. A three-metre lead length alone does not establish that a replacement probe is compatible.
Before ordering a replacement
- Photograph the original thermostat and its full model label.
- Identify the wiring centre or receiver and its generation.
- Confirm the actuator voltage and the complete wiring plan.
- Check whether an existing floor probe will remain suitable.
- Confirm the hub model if app control is required.
Use the manufacturer’s manuals for installation and electrical connections. Find Heatmiser neo manuals and check neoHub Gen 2 compatibility.
