Description
The Heatmiser UH8-RF v2 is a wireless wiring centre designed for controlling and managing heating systems. It is compatible with Slimline-RF and neoAir Thermostats.
The UH8-RF v2 is installed near the underfloor heating manifold and serves as a central switch. It allows you to control 8 heating zones and also provides an output for a hot water cylinder. When any zone calls for heat, a 230v output is generated to activate the corresponding zone actuators, underfloor heating pump, and valve. The unit includes a volt-free connection for the boiler, making it compatible with most boiler types. The boiler signal can be transmitted wirelessly via RF to the RF Switch, offering a fully wireless solution for installers.
Each zone can accommodate up to 6 actuators. If desired, you can configure the thermostat software to distinguish between underfloor heating and radiator zones. In radiator zones, the underfloor heating pump, valve, and boiler are not activated when there is a heat demand. Instead, the boiler is enabled through the end switch of the valve.
The UH8-RF supports central wiring for up to 8 zones and can be mounted on a DIN rail (DIN rail not included). It includes outputs for the underfloor heating valve, pump, multiple radiator zones, and domestic hot water. The actuator outputs operate at 230v. If the unit is installed in a metal cupboard or encounters wireless signal limitations, an external aerial can be used.
