Description

The edge insulation strip is a necessary component for any underfloor heating system. It is specifically designed to be used with solid or screed floors, although it can also be used with other floor types that require a thermal break or expansion zone. The strip, also known as the perimeter strip, serves as a thermal bridge to prevent moisture from crossing over, reducing heat loss and noise once the screed has set. It also allows for some expansion of the screed slab. The edging strip is made from Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE), with a thickness of 8mm. It is available in a height of 150mm and comes in a 25m roll with 5 scores per roll.
